Distinguished Professor at Rutgers University. Her honors include United States Presidential Faculty Fellow, the first Clean Energy Education and Empowerment (C3E) Award from the US Department of Energy, and the Humboldt Research Award. She is an Elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. She is currently an Associate Editor ofCrystal Growth & Designand has been on the editorial board of several international journals such as J. Mater. Chem. A and Inorg. Chem.. She has published 350+ papers in top international journals. Among these 29 are invited reviews. She was a Highly Cited Researcher by Thomson Reuters in 2015, 2016 and 2019.
