Francis J. DiSalvo

John A. Newman Chair Professor at Cornell University. He was the Director ofAtkinson Center for a Sustainable Future, Co-Director of the Center for Future Energy Systems at Cornell University, Co-Director of Cornell Fuel Cell Institute, and Director of Cornell Center for Materials Research. He was a member of the US Department of Energy Basic Energy Science Advisory Committee and Council on Materials Sciences. APS International Prize for New Materials, He is a member of the US National Academy of Sciences, a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a Fellow of the American Physical Society and Materials Research Society. He has received The American Physical Society International Prize for New Materials. His research interest is in fuel cells, electro-catalysis and high energy density battery materials. He has 500+ pulications and 12 patents in materials science field.
